  1. Hi everyone. I'm trying to arrange the replacement of both external doors on my house. Not knowing a joiner I have been looking for places that supply and fit. Abbeydale Door Centre looks promising but have no experience of them. Has anyone used them or can they recommend a good joiner? Need door and frames replacing and etched glass in the top light. Thanks in advance. Pete

  3. Hi everyone. I've noticed that the fantastic smelling roast chestnut stalls have returned to Fargate for the festive season! Does anyone know what time they open until on the weekend? Many thanks, Pete
  4. Hi. I didn't cancel it straight away because I wanted the SIM to be active so that whoever found it could call me. I also checked the o2 site frequently as it allows you to view all recent calls/texts. I have cancelled it now though as I believe the battery will be dead now. I just hope someone has the decency to hand it in to the police or contact me on 0114 2308458. Cheers
  5. Yeah, rang it every 30 mins or so yesterday. I sent it a text giving a contact number too. Unfortunately, at about 11pm last night it started going straight to voicemail which means it's probably gone flat. Problem is, I'd left it on silent!
  6. Also, if the taxi driver I used goes on here you picked me up on Rustlings Road at approximately 02.30 in the morning and dropped me on Hallam Grange Rise (Fulwood) . The phone might have slipped down the back of the seat or something? Cheers.
  7. Hi everyone. I know this is a HUGE long shot, but I left my mobile in a black cab on Friday night - must have slipped out of my pocket. It was a black Apple iPhone with a slim black case on it. I've tried everything to try and get it back and this is a last resort really. If anyone found it I would be sincerely grateful if you could get in touch. I work on-call at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital so need to be contactable. A reward is on offer for its safe return. Many thanks, Pete
  8. Could'nt agree more mate. Beautiful music, fantastic guitarist, top bloke. Nice to see and hear someone who's got passion and pride for this great city of ours too. Hope he does a another pre-Christmas gig with the Feral Cats this year. Last years was classic.
  9. Alright mate, I was there for that. Amazing band. You can really tell they have a passion for what they're doing. It's great to see - and hear.
  10. Hi, I've just read the listings in the Sheffield Telegraph and Frank White and his band are playing tomorrow at the Dronfield Sports and Social Club on Carr Lane, Dronfield Woodhouse. It starts at 9pm and its £5 entry. Would'nt mind going myself. Though I'm tempted to go and see Love with Arthur Lee at the Leadmill on Sunday - if there's any tickets left. Hope this is of help. Cheers, Pete
  11. He occasionally plays the The Riverside on Mowbray Street too. Their contact details are: 1 Mowbray St, Neepsend, Sheffield, S3 8EN Tel: 0114 281 3621
  12. I'd second the Wickerman. It mentions so many different places, and Jarvis discribes them so well it's just like you're there with him. Sheffield:Sex City is a close second mind. Both great songs.
  13. I love these panoramic shots I found a couple of months ago. Especially the ones from Bolehills and the long gone Furnival Square underpass. Panoramic Photos
  14. On the same theme, there's a Ryan Hair on Hatfield House Lane. Nice.
