  5. hi all, can anyone recommend anywhere worth visiting on the train with a family? we have been to York and Newcastle and are looking for somewhere to go this Saturday maybe and roughly 1 to 1 1/2 hours away has anyone any thoughts about what Manchester is like to visit thanks
  6. hi , was hoping to go out on the afternoon to watch the grand national and wednesday v newcastle match but some pubs showing the chelsea v bournemouth game instead as its a premiere leauge game.... Any ideas where to go .... thanks

  8. Hi all, I'm interested in taking my children to a parade on Sunday and wasn't sure where anything was happening, I'm in Longley but friends have said barkers pool is best but only at the cenotaph for the laying of wreaths as no march etc through town
  9. its open in heeley on an industrial site, they said that they had a dis agreement with the land lords at gower street but the food isn't the same tbh
  10. Hi all, :help: I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to stay in Manchester or London that caters for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) in 1 room, rather than having to get 2 separate rooms? It has to be easy accessible by public transport as i dont drive also unfortunately . Thankyou

  16. Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me what happened to the clothing stall in the market "harringtons". I was told it was there for years and years but when I went there i was told it closed down a year or so ago. Does anyone nowhere it moved to. Many Thanks Lee:)
