we did thanks poppet and it was really good and would recommend it , thanks Andy also , I have tried ringing different venues up and contacting the tourist information but it constant engaged or ringing out . are the trams regular and is Piccadilly the best stop or lime street to travel to

Hi all, I'm interested in taking my children to a parade on Sunday and wasn't sure where anything was happening, I'm in Longley but friends have said barkers pool is best but only at the cenotaph for the laying of wreaths as no march etc through town

its open in heeley on an industrial site, they said that they had a dis agreement with the land lords at gower street but the food isn't the same tbh

Hi all, :help: I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to stay in Manchester or London that caters for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) in 1 room, rather than having to get 2 separate rooms? It has to be easy accessible by public transport as i dont drive also unfortunately . Thankyou

Hi All, Can anyone help me please? Im trying to find the easiest and cheapest way to get to butlins and back in july. It would be traveling there on a friday and back on the monday. 2 Adults and 3 kids. To go on the train is £70 plus £28 for a railcard but its two changes and part of the journeys on a bus according to trainline .com Many thanks

i take it you dont use public transport?? i only thought it may improve things as things are gettin worse instead of better in my opinion.

just a thought but does anyone else think bus drivers should get a bonus if there bus runs close to time table, such as within 10mins or so? I waited for a bus today and waited over a hour for a service thats supposed to be every 20mins then 2 came together lol. I totally understand the problems with traffic congestion but to be honest alot of drivers dont help themselves dont you think?

church on the corner have a free bonfire/ fireworks display... its on the corner of longley park, ive been going for the past few years with the kids and really enjoy it. hope this helps lee -
