  1. Hi , thinking of a family day out in Manchester on the train for my daughters 13th birthday as something different but is there much to do and is it expensive?? It’s April 7th and it’s for 2 adults and 3 kids Thanks

  5. hi all, can anyone recommend anywhere worth visiting on the train with a family? we have been to York and Newcastle and are looking for somewhere to go this Saturday maybe and roughly 1 to 1 1/2 hours away has anyone any thoughts about what Manchester is like to visit thanks

  8. Hi all, I'm interested in taking my children to a parade on Sunday and wasn't sure where anything was happening, I'm in Longley but friends have said barkers pool is best but only at the cenotaph for the laying of wreaths as no march etc through town

  10. Hi all, :help: I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to stay in Manchester or London that caters for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) in 1 room, rather than having to get 2 separate rooms? It has to be easy accessible by public transport as i dont drive also unfortunately . Thankyou
