I was wondering if anyone else had experienced irresponsible dog owners in elsecar? I am sick to death of observing bad leash etiquette! Fouling on local sporting grounds! Leaving dogs in terrible rooms and competitions on how long or high you can pull your animal off the ground! It seems to me that these owners just do not know how to look after our animal kingdom and those critters that live within it? I wondered if anyone else had come across these types of encounters with these terrible owners, who do we report them too and is there any irresponsible courses to send these sicken people on as a form or punishment? Yours the responsible chapeltown pet owner!

So sheffield we need your help............ We are looking for a very old picture of the front of Seagraves barbers Woodseats and need your help to find one. You would not believe how many people must have taken a photo of the BigTree with their backs to Seagraves but none the other way round. We have tried sheffield archives but nothing so any ideas, photos would be great full thanks

I think you should do some more research on the "the homelessness crisis is out of control" Are the people you have spoken to actually homeless or are they like most choosing that lifestyle in order for people to give them money that they will no doubt spend on subtances for their pleasure or habit? There are numerous support agencies in Sheffield there to help people who have taken the wrong path in life or who find themsleves in bad times BUT people do not want to help themselves. Serioulsy don't judge a book by its cover people will tell you anything to to pull the woll over your eyes!

We live at the bottom end of Woodseats and everyday day at 09.20 the chorus part of "food glorious food" in the style of an ice cream vans music plays! Can someone put me of my misery and tell me what it is? I am sure it's not the ice cream man?

Anyone got any experience with Vehicle Control Services, got an £80 for not displaying a permit (which I was) and after appealing it they say that I can't and that the original charge still stands and will go up by £40 if not paid in 7 days! I have read loads about this company and others and I am sure I will be receiving numerous threatening letters, but has anyone actually been to court? I am willing to do so as I believe that I have not committed any offence but any experiences, advise etc always appreciated? Keep the faith Sheffield, much love xx

I have today been in the The Barrow Boy's Pub that used to be on Shude Hill under Commercial Street. Strange little place,I understand it shut in the 1980's and was popular with skinheads, however can't find out when it was built? its history? or find any pictures inside or out (apart from what it looks like now) Just interested that's all

technically it's not an offence! they don't advrtise sex just massages, what happens after is an offence, but until they change the start bit and wording unfortunately it won't go away!

Does anyone know where I can hire either a blue or orange tuxedo other than a fancy dress shop?
