Desperate to pull at 80's, 90's music venue Fri nights

I have a single friend see - (not me) - who is coming up to Sheffield one Friday soon - looking for a good night on the tiles. Since we're 30 plus (ok ... 35 plus) we require bucket loads of cheese - 70's, 80's, 90's music etc - but less students and their ilk (ie under 21's) since we don't want to look like the aged farts we are. Options considered so far are Bubblegum at Gatecrasher 1, Le Freak at Cubanas or Royale at the Leadmill (but probably not this one since it shuts at 12 - and we're not that crap). Thoughts please?
