If you want to speak french or meet french people !!

I'm very keen to join in the French fun. My French is far from brilliant and has barely been practised in many years - are there any other people who come to the group who aren't experts? I'd love to come next time you all meet up but I'm a bit worried that I'd be sat without a clue what anyone's saying and then embarass myself by saying the equivalent of 'Ich bin ein berliner' (je suis une saucisse?!) I'm not though. A sausage that is.

 

Don't worry ! Everybody is welcome to this meeting ! You wouldn't be lost as there will be some english people from different french levels. Also, there will be french people who want to improve their english (like me for exemple, and I often ambarras myself by saying stupid things;) ).

The aim is to have a drink, meet new people and try to have some exchanges either in french or in english.

I think it would have been 'je suis un beignet' - as 'ich bin ein Berliner' means I am a donut! Sounds like a good night though, and I'm sure you could hold your own and have a good time truemobile.
