Haven't been up there for a good while. Anyone fished it recently - how's it doing these days.

Went up to the Flask for a couple of hours last night.

 

No one else fishing on a beautiful summer evening. Set up in the middle of the bay, just below the gate from the road, after clambering down the rocks as the water is quite low right now.

 

Simple wag and mag set up, first put in was a perch, as it was the very first time I fished there over 45 years ago. A good few hand sized and above roach and a couple of skimmers followed to keep it interesting. Had to change depth a couple of times to keep them coming, but all the fish were in top condition and most never seen a hook before.

 

Fish topping all over the reservoir as the sun went down. Think I'll try the plantation next time out.
