Painting over magnolia

I have just bought some dulux polished pebble silk paint. Can this apply straight over magnolia walls?

Should be fine with a couple of coats, assuming the walls are just painted with matt magnolia paint

It's over a silk colour paint that looks like magnolia. I just said magnolia as its kind of like it :-)
