gudji1 Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 26, 2014 Anyone out there who claims to be a wiz on Land rover Discovery 3 auto. I have a noise which garages cant seem to pin point. If you think you can help them please PM me. Noise is a chafing or perhaps a whooshing noise at front which only makes the noise when starting to accelerate. Come off the gas and noise goes. Have changed oils in front diff and splitter box but same.
 Share this content via...

gudji1   10 #3 Posted October 26, 2014 No power is great. In fact engine is very good. I did think compressor but does not do it when stood. This is only when moving. One garage said gearbox is fine and bearings are good on all wheels. Very annoying  ---------- Post added 26-10-2014 at 21:01 ----------  Been looking for a local club to join but none in area. You often find heads together solve some of these things
 Share this content via...
