Cafe At Gleadless town end ?

Recommended Posts

Theres a cafe called 885 at Gleadless town end . I've been in a few times for lunch with a friend and today was the second time I've been and it has been closed. Does anyone know what's happening with it? Shame if it is shut as we like it there.

Their website seems to be down. Shame if they've gone out of business, they were good.

Café closed down yesterday.

New café with themed dining opens Dec/Jan.

Early morning breakfasts; cream teas; homebakes; monthly international night; craft mornings; themed lunches; children's parties etc

Something different to bring the local community together.

Ohh that sounds good! It's nice to have somewhere local to escape to while the kids are at nursery :)

Cool, there's nothing else like that up there.

In fact unless you want a takeaway you're likely to be screwed.

I like the idea of an international night , be great if there's entertainment and can take your own wine or something like that. I'm glad the place will still be a cafe because like you say, there's nothing else like it round this end .

Glad to hear it's just closed for improvements.

Not just improvements but new owners.

I've been to the new cafe as it opened this week.

It's now called Dotty Nell's cafe and themed dining .

It's lovely ! The decor is fab , so comfortable and homely with a modern twist.

Good variety of food at good prices and one of the best bits for me is... They serve top notch tea, coffee and hot choc..it's Pollards! Yum!
