My Grandparents lived on Erskine Rd, ( Harry & Maggie Coward ). My cousin, Harry Ward & Family lived next door. My cousin Barry McHugh & Family lived on Berners Close. This was through the 40s, 50s, & 60s. I spent a lot of my childhood & youth especially on the Black Banks, and around the Midhill Club, and Sat morning matinees at the Carlton Cinema. Also countless thousands of happy hours in Cat Lane Woods, where my best friend Phil Selkirk lived in Rose Cottage. My name is Ed Harvey, Carfield Primary, High Storrs Grammar, emigrated to Melbourne in 1964. To Alan52...Carn The Saints.
