Free beginners/improvers climbing tuition offered

Recommended Posts

I am currently a trainee on the Single Pitch Award (SPA), run by the British Mountaineering Council. Before my full assessment, I'm required to gain a certain amount of days building up my teaching experience.

So here's where you come in!

I can offer FREE(!) coaching days, for either complete beginners or more experienced climbers. Have you never climbed before and do you want to try out climbing indoors or outdoors? Have you been climbing indoors for a while and want to try getting out on rock? Have you climbed outside before but now want to set up your own topropes or abseil safely? Do you just want to have a great day out in beautiful surroundings?

All sessions will be completely tailored to your experience and needs, and can be delivered to individuals, pairs, or smaller groups - and to either adults or (supervised) kids too. Equipment can be provided, all you need to do is dress for the weather and get yourself to whichever venue we're using. I'm based in Sheffield, so would usually suggest sessions be based in the Peak District, but I can travel a little further afield if necessary.

I have a full enhanced CRB certificate, and a current Outdoor First Aid certificate (though we won't be needing that!).

drop me a private message if you're interested and we can sort something out :D
