Parking: Plenty of free parking

Refreshments and Toilets: Public Toilets at entrance to Park, refreshments at Royal Oak

Public transport: Frequent busses from Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, Trains every half hour from Sheffield and Leeds.

New walkers are always welcome.

 

On this walk you are asked to wear something, someone bought you for Christmas - if it is an awful Christmas Jumper all the better.

 

We shall be starting this walk at 11.00am from the Library at Chapeltown and finishing at the Commercial on Station Road in Chapeltown, for a swift half or two

 

So stop lounging on that sofa - you will have done that all Christmas Day - get outside and get some fresh air and together with the banter and laughs of a Shamblers walk you will banish those post-Christmas blues and be ready for the New Year.

Anyone who is able to offer lifts, could they put this in their post, passengers please note that the driver may wish to join the rest of the group for a drink after the walk, so please bear this mind also spare clean shoes if having a lift.
