  5. It's good that it's seen as 95% less harmful than cigarettes, don't agree with them being on prescription though, or at the very least prescribe just one battery, one atomiser, one fluid. Smoking an ecig is far less expensive than normal cigs including the cheap dodgy ones. So if it works for the person (it's probably the closest a smoker will get to the real thing) they will still be saving money and leading a healthier life.

  13. More walks... Our program of walks continue with our list below taking us till the end of May, a couple of dates are still to be arranged and details will be available on our website when these are sorted. New walkers are always welcome details on how to join are on the above post. One of our members was recently asked on a social networking site Q "What do you get for the Β£2.00 registration fee" A " The answer is, the registration fee goes towards printing of health Questionnaires, hosting of the website, and Public Liability Insurance. Our accounts are transparent to our members and are audited at our AGM. Unlike some groups there is no yearly renewal fee. Minutes of our AGM meeting are accessible from our website. At one time we used to be covered under the Walking For Health liability Insurance however this only covered health walks and not our weekend walks, so we decided to get our own cover. The same person asked Q "Why is there a committee in place" A "A successful organisation needs to be run in a professional way, each year any member has the opportunity to put up for the committee to help the running of the group, once the committee has been selected at our AGM then that committee then appoint a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Walks Coordinator out of the 6 committee members" A constitution was put in place and accepted by our members back in 2012 this is also accessible via our website.
