ls212121
The title says it all really. Planning to go out for a family meal a week on Sunday, and we all love Chinese food. I've heard that it's the chinese new year on this day - does this mean that chinese restaurants will be closed for the day?
Meaks
No quite the opposite, they will be packed. You will probably need to book.
Bago
Well, Sunday is the official day. I think some restaurants will have live entertainment such as the traditional 'Lion Dance' in their restaurant for like half hour. (It's a cultural thing to bless the business with prosperity blah blah blah.) So... if you want to see this kind of event, ask whether they do this when u book the table. Some restaurants do it, and some don't. The ones that are fully booked is because of this reason really. Some may do a special menu because of this too. You can also ask when u ring up. Btw, not sure if you are interested in this instead. It's a celebration for CNY in the City Hall. They usually have some kind of food stalls too. So u can try different things. http://www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk/events/event.php?nEventID=
