Macmillan nurses

Does anyone know how to get a macmillan nurse that would come out to speak to us,me and my hubby are really struggling at the moment and we feel like no one is listening.and a few people have said to me have you got a macmillan nurse to speak to they are brilliant.

I rang that number but was told if i wanted someone to come out to speak to us we needed a dr or someone to refer us which we have supposed to have had,but every time i tell someone we havent heard from anyone yet all i get is they are very busy and i understand that but we are really desperate to speak to someone.
