sophiec1979 Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Consider using your rights under s.11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1985/70/crossheading/repairing-obligations I'm no expert, though, but I certainly recommend getting expert advice by contacting Shelter, on their freefone number (google it) or the C-A-B or Housing Aid at the council. in addition to these, speak to the university housing office immediately too. you may have a bit of a battle on your hands to resolve this so you need to make sure to you have as much support and clout behind you as possible. i wish you the best of luck x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
