actionman
i wonder if anyone could help me. I've had a samsung r510 laptop a few years now. Last year the battery was knacked so i threw it away and i use the power lead as i never take it anywhere. Then a few weeks ago the laptop went off when the power lead was moved near the insocket. It still worked as long as the lead was still. But now it won't turn on at all. The power pack light is on and so is the on switch on the laptop. Phoned pc world and told me to bring it down. Could be power pack which they sell at £60 or the laptop socket itself maybe. Any advice? People say 20 quid on ebay for power lead? Or if it needs repair are pc world the best for this? tedog
From a personal point of view I wouldn't let PC World anywhere near my laptop ... Have a look round your local area , you'll probably find someone a lot cheaper and faster .
