Which city is better to moving and stay with children:Nottingham or Derby?

I'd say Derby, I've lived in Nottingham and hate the place and most of the people in it; I have only worked in Derby though but it struck me as a better place with better people but I could be wrong.

I'd also say derby, I go to uni there and stayed on a road on a newish estate, falstaf court I think was the road, loved it there, great for kids :-)

ok,how is Derby,is it big enough,for shopping,activities,art galleries..?

It's big enough, there is the Westfield shopping centre and then corn market and the shops along chapel walk. The Westfield is the best at the moment but there is development due in the town centre. There are also various retail parks to the outskirts a good one by the football club.

There is the quad and other venues for theatre performances at the cathedral quarter area of the city.

As for activities, what do you want to do?

sport activities,activities for children at parks,art&craft courses etc.Ok we are living in Sheffield at the moment,maybe we need a visit to Derby at this weekend,if the weather let us to go:)
