William Legon 10 #1 Posted March 9, 2012 Sheffield based Will4Adventure is now planning the next Challenge4Charity in aid of the Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation: this will be an (insane) 50 mile sponsored walk through the Peak District National Park. Wherever you stop – we’ll pick you up – how far will you go? Challenge4Charity 2012 is a continuous sponsored walk - with no opportunities for sleeping, or for separate team members to walk separate stages - it is purely a case of walk … as far as your legs will take you! With regular marshals and support drivers you have the option to walk as far as you can up to the maximum of 50 miles inside 24 hours. To that end, pick up points will be located at the 10 mile point, the 15 mile point, and then at two and three mile intervals thereafter until the half way point. After 25 miles, walkers will continue in small teams and be supported by a vehicle which will meet them at one and two mile intervals.
