Sunday 26th February - Langold/Hodsock Priory

Known as Langold Country Walk, this is a circular route of eight miles along public footpaths, bridleways and some roads passing through woodlands and open countryside. Along the way we’ll pass through Langold Country Park, the 16th century Wallingwells and end up at Hodsock Priory where there’ll be the opportunity to view the world famous Hodsock snowdrops.

For anyone who's thinking of coming on this walk, it's £5 to go in Hodsock, but parking is free.

The lovely weather made this a delightful walk, and meeting (and making friends with!) Sir Andrew Buchanan the owner of Hodsock was an experience, especially as I thought he was going to throw us out at one point!
