SHEFFIELD SHAMBLERS WALKING GROUP

 

Walk: Norfolk Park Circular

 

Date: Wednesday 8th September

 

Start time: 6pm ( Please arrive for 5.45pm so we can have a prompt start)

 

Meeting point: Outside Mcdonalds, Farm Road, S2 2TP (just off Queens Road)

 

Approx distance: 4/5 miles

 

Approx duration: 1.5 hours

 

Route: Norfolk Park/Manor Lane/City Road Cemetary/Park Grange Road

 

Terrain: Quite hilly, completely on tarmacced footpaths

 

Post walk pub: Royal Standard, St Marys Gate

 

Parking: On street parking on Farm Road

 

Toilets: None en route

 

Public transport: Trams and buses to Granville Square

 

IMPORTANT: Anyone joining the walk should be of a level of fitness relative

to the walk being undertaken, be appropriately dressed, have

suitable footwear, and have with them enough food and drink

for the duration of the walk.

Me too. On the last evening walk we had 21 people and hardly any of them posted on here that they were coming, which isn't unusual.

Good walk, 12 people there and once again, smashing weather
