Olemorris
I have my dad's old tenon saw which needs sharpening and probably re-setting. Drawn a blank on where to get this done - anyone know a place or person who could do this?

Incomer
So that others know, I can recommend West Saw Services, Unit 15, Baltic Works, Effingham Rd for sharpening hand saws. They have always made an excellent job of mine.

I have two good brass backed saws that were my grandfather's but two trips to Effingham road and the cost of sharpening suggest buying a couple of these would be a better use of my money.
