Any Acting Classes / Groups?

Hi,

 

Does anyone know where I can find any acting classes or amateur dramatics groups? Its something I have always wanted to get into but never pursued.

 

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello,

 

We have an amateur theatre group called the Dilys Guite Players and they perform at the Lantern Theatre in Nether Edge. We're always looking for new people, either actors or backstage if you're interested. We have been running some acting workshops lately. We another one on the 8th June looking at comedy and farce.

 

We put on 4 or 5 plays a year and we'll be holding auditions for Shakespeares Much Ado About Nothing in the next month or so and there will be workshops on Shakespeare in the near future.

you could try the midland players

 

their latest production has just finished but they will be gearing up for the next one after summer i imagine.
