What to do with visiting nephew and niece

I went to the National Coal Mining Museum, Wakefield at the weekend with my neice. Really quite interesting, its free admission, but they accept donations. They have a nature trail so would be a nice walk as well as an underground tour which last about an hour and half. The food is quite pricey though.

Go for a walk through Endcliffe Park to Forge Dam and onto Wire Dam and have a chip buttie at the cafe at Forge Dam.

why not go roller staking its only £3 and you get the boots with that and your can sit and watch if you dont want to join in

Magna in Rotherham is really good, my niece and nephew enjoyed it there. There is also Xscape if the weather is bad (an indoor snow slope) @ Castleford. You can go skiiing, snowboarding or sledging. Alternatively The Climbing works The Climbing Works

Cycle hire at Ladybower and go right around both reservoirs! Then lunch in the cafe above the outdoor shop in Hathersage ( its not too pricey), then a quick trot up to Stannage Edge...that'll wear them out.
