algy
Can anyone tell where Jenkinson Street is in Sheffield? I'm tracing my family tree and I've found that they used to live on Jenkinson Street. in Sheffield 6, can't be more accurate I'm afraid. Peter Harvey's book on Sheffield Street Names just says it's 'no longer listed'. Alternatively there was aJenkinson Street in Sheffield 9, whose name was changed in 1903 to Jardine Street. Could that be the one? It's at Wincobank, between Fife Street and Newman Road Edited November 14, 2009 by algy

pat 1
My mom used to live on Jenkinson street in 1935-1956. She knew the tansleys quite well and has a photograph of the kelvin kids with the tansleys on it , Enid, pat, Yvonne or christine-not sure which one, taken in 1943. My mom lived at no.10 and the tansleys lived at no.
