ashanta67
Thanks Waddler8. I downloaded the fix to a pen driver and also tried the manual version but to no avail I'm afraid. Same icon, same "connected to unknown network, limited or no connectivity".
RIZRAT
Have you tried either a wireless usb dongle or a broadband dongle to see if they will resolve the issue ?
ashanta67
Sorry to be numptyish but I don't know what a dongle is! (Or what "ping" refers to either). There should be a techno dictionary on this section.....
waddler8
Access the command prompt window as you did before, but this time type or copy and paste ipconfig /all and press enter. (there is a space between ipconfig and /all) When the results show, right click in the command window and choose Select All, then press Enter. That will copy the details to your clipboard, open notepad and paste the results there and save them, then paste them in a post here, or simply paste the results directly in a post here.
