ukdavvy
Hi Ive driven past Froggatt on the Chequers road a couple of times recently. Theres a layby bit where youve always been able to park withot hassle. Recently all the cars parked there, legally I think, have had yellow tickets under their wipers. They dont look like parking tickets and theres no reason I can see why they should be. Whats going on? Ive not been able to stop to take a look myself. Anybody? d
redrobbo
I think you are referring to the couple of 'lay-bys' by the litter-bins on the right-hand side of the road, below the brow of the hill as you drop down towards Froggatt. I've always used these for free parking, thus avoiding the pay car-park on the brow of the hill, where the ice-cream van also parks. I can only presume that these yellow stickers are just advertising material? Hope so - don't want to lose a free car parking space!
Mo
Or do you mean the pull in by the stile at start of the walk along Froggatt Edge?
