Liose
Just to let you know, I went out to Bakewell yesterday for my other halfs 30th Birthday with his parents and our 7 month old daughter. We had a lovely walk along the river, then stopped to have lunch in Aitches - a small wine bar just out of the way of the city centre (it has a green facia!). This is a recommendation for anyone taking a trip to Bakewell over the coming months - go and try it - they were really friendly, the food was lovely (we had a set menu £7.95 for two courses) - and they even brought my daughter some mashed potato and mashed carrot! I wouldn't usually come on to post about where I've been, but this place definately is worth a visit! Anyone else tried it?
threecolours
Originally posted by Liose Anyone else tried it? Yeah, Ive been a few times and liked it there (Im veggie). Good friendly service and Bakewell is nice place to spend an afternoon - just avoid it on bank holidays as it'll be heaving with tourists.
