I don’t see how it benefits me or others at all I have a baby and when I go to pick my child up from school I can’t drive there because they are closing the road. I know the traffic around that area is bad, but is this the best they can come up with. I now need to waste petrol on doing a rat run to get to my destination

I’m disabled and live in crookes. And these road diversions effect me getting to a lot of destinations. Also means I have to drive for longer to get to these destination, which will also cost me more on fuel. This does not benefit the disabled or elderly at all. A lot of the traffic comes from students. when students go back home you can see the difference. with the lack of parked cars about and traffic on the road so why not just tell the young students to not bring their cars and cycle everywhere? And leave us residents that live hear to be able to get from point a to point b with out driving all over the place. All because some small minority have nothing else to do than think up stupid ideas like this?
