Gwyneth it were Abbey Vets, I didnt like the vet and ended up walking out while my other half finished off the consultation. Thing that got me was we had taken him for his second injections, a check up and also to be chipped, that isnt the behaviour imo of someone who is neglecting an animal but someone who wants to make sure their pet is in good condition, up to date with their injections and chipped to help keep them as safe as possible!!

We thought it was bizzare too but I felt like she was trying to say we were neglecting him :-( Thanks for your comments just needed some advice from other dog lovers/owners to see what their opinion was.

Took my 10 week old springer to vet on wed and as he sat and then gave her a paw the vet said we dont encourage paw giving as its the first sign of neglect and its dog language for get off me anyone heard anything like this all dog programs say to teach it any advice welcome
