recently got given a desktop for my son to play his games on, admittedly it is quite an old machine so i installed xp onto it but everytime we try to get his games working we get an error message that says cant create direct3d device, the games install ok but just wont run. anyone know what this message means and how to fix it? thanks guys

hi all, i have lots of videos on my computer of my kids that i want to convert and burn to dvds so i can give them out to family, does anybody know of a free programme that can convert and then burn the videos for me??? thanks

can anyone help me, im having a new years party and i want to be able to do karaoke through my pc using the karaoke videos on youtube. obvoiusly i need to plug a microphone into the microphone slot on the back of pc, but i have a feeling that i cant just plug it in, play the video and expect it to work. is there anything else i need to do (or buy) to get this idea to work? thanks

hi all just a quick question about this game. is it possible to do finishing moves during the match cos me and my mate are having trouble working out if it is, i know you can do them once the match is over but surely it would be much more fun if you can use a finishing move to finish your opponent off lol. pleeeeeaaase can anyone tell me if its possible and if so how? ta very much

hi everyone, im looking at buying a car and i have seen a vauxhall corsa which is an r reg that im quite interested in but im not sure what to look for before i buy, obviously i will be checking for rust and wot not but what i would like ot know is are there any common faults on this madel of car at this age? also im not sure on price, it comes with 12 month test and 6 month tax and the blokes askin for 895 which i think sounds a bit dear, any advice will be gratefully recieved

my brother has given me his old phone a nokia 6288 but everytime i switch it on it says its restricted and i need a restriction code, anyone know where i could get this from? it was on network 3 but the sim card i have put in is a vodafone one, is this why its asking for a restriction code? im baffled by this, can anyone help please?
