  16. Did you go to the Parsons Cross fate on Chaucer school field the other day? It wasn't the Beagle I know because I have't been in for years, used to see Birdy and the Lunns in there then, oh and the Pollogrenas, and the Furnis's. If any of them still go in. Ma and Pa still live up there but I live in Chesterfield now, have done for about 15 years, must be 25 years since first went on the CB.
  17. Aye up everybody, found a site that brings back a few memories of a misspent youth. I used to be GAF, caused a few rowdies on the rig once in a while used to go to the Lane Top, when Shaggy Dog (Brian Cavell) did the disco, early eighties. I can remember Nidge Red Alert, Randy Mandy, DT, Budgie Man. had to brush a few of the cob webs away there for just those few names. Eyeballed for a few scraps in the past, one of the many trouble causers I'm afraid to say. Also went to Parson Cross breakers, Cross Scythes and the one down opposite the Kelvin Flats, Whatever the name was. Eyeballed two fit ones, one that went by the name of 'A town called Malice', can any body remember them? Or the Catticks that worked on the fair that went on the rig, Their sister was called Randy Mandy, one of about have a dozen.
