evening everyone, has there been an over zealous postie today or is there some little scumbag running riot tearing off letterbox flaps? I found ours on the floor when I came home, and I've noticed a fair few others missing on the estate. Anyone see anything today? I've been down to B&Q this evening for a replacement - but it seems like the ones we have are a pretty unique design. Anyone had to buy a replacement previously or got any ideas where we can get them from?

Hi guys, We are having a problem with the boiler too! Does yours just vibrate when the heating comes on? Ours sounds like tractor engine ticking over at 6am - not a good way to start the day! By the sounds of it, no-one has got to the bottom of the problem yet? Any advice? Is it worth getting someone out to look at it do you think? If so, who did you guys call? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys! Just wondering if anyone has had any work done by the builders/Wimpey since they've moved in? We've been in for a year now but looking to put up a fence in our garden along with a gate. Has anyone else approached them for a similar thing after moving in? Cheers!

Really sorry to hear you've been broken into Fabulous girl. Just want to say that I am still really excited about moving into our new house, everyone that lives on viewpoint that are on here sound really nice. We are gonna get an alarm fitted too as I grew up with one in my parents house after they got broken into twice by the same guy. not a nice feeling when you find out someone has been in your house while you've been sleeping. alarm gives a bit of piece of mind and i feel acts as a bit of a deterent. definitely up for neighbourhood watch. really feel for you fabulous girl, know how horrible the process is.

Neighbourhood watch sounds good to me, I'm up for that - I'm not letting a few kids ruin the buying of our first house! A gate also sounds good down the side of Myrtle Close leading to Myrtle Road - if the lady needs anymore signatures we should be moving in in September so let us know! fingers crossed all goes smoothly from here on in!

howdy! we've got one of the Ashfords that have just been released! we're first time buyers so its great for us - very happy! just got a quick question about extra kitchen units? does anyone know the name of the company that Wimpey used for them and if so how much would a larder cost?? i would imagine they are considerably more expensive so I think we would search around for an equivalent.

Another question...! Has anyone gone with the carpets/laminate? We can't get them included so were just looking at the prices - not sure if its worth it really? Think we could probably lay laminate in the living room for cheaper than £1000!

Hi there! My boyfriend and I are thinking about buying one of the houses on this estate. Just got some concerns about the surrounding area. Can anyone tell me how they find it? Do you have many problems other than the ones mentioned on this thread? Everyone I have spoken to says Heeley is an ok area. Is that correct? My boyfriend and I are not from Sheffield originally so have had to rely on other people's opinion! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
