Hi All, New band night on a Thursday once a month held at Jocosa on West Street in Sheffield. When Blind Drivers first started out, it was tough to get a gig, now we're playing Leadmill, O2 and headlining places like The Cavern in Liverpool. We're now giving back to the Sheffield bands community and hosting our own night for local bands (new or established) to get their music out there. We don't want bands to have to get on their hands and knees and beg for a gig and we will make a commitment to respond to every email we get and ensure that you're kept up to date with what we're doing... and it'll be free for your fans to get in.... It's a new approach, just get in touch and we'll get you on the bill at some point! The first free gig of the year for BDM Productions happens on the 19th January 2011, after 150 people turned up to the last event, we're hoping for an equally as big event. We have secured The Stand as headliners, with the superb Tuesday Lates as main headline act. The doors open at 7.30pm so get yourself down. We have manged to secure some cheeky drink offers to, so to all your students out there, it's a great opportunity to welcome in the year with all your pals!!!! Hi B, not at all.... It wouldn't be good practice to have the same bands playing all the time, and you're playing everywhere at the mo, so there needs to be a month or so until you're back. If we can't get you then, it's our loss. P

Hi Peggy, the first one we're running is Jacosa, however the night is run by my band the Blind Drivers and we tend to play venues such as O2 etc, so any bands we like we ask them to play with us at the bigger / more well known venues. Saying that the last gig we did at jacosa brought in 150 punters!

Hi All, We're looking for someone / others to share our rehearsal space with at Lion Works, Kelham Island. We have full PA, Peavey speakers, drum kit etc in there and will leave in there for the bands we share with.
