just got home and all i can smell is smoke (not my house) thick black clouds and went to get something from car and now i smell like a bonfire but cant see any fire

I dont understand why people mess their landlords about. I have been in my property 3years but due to having a daughter my daughter i'd like a house instead, but my landlady only owns one house and its already taken. People who dont pay just put people off.

Sorry this is a bit of a rant. I am a single mum to a beautiful little girl, when i had my little girl in feb i informed them of all the changes, that i was now on maternity allowance etc, and they amended my allowance. couple of months after my tax credits where sorted out and i again informed them of the change. I have now started to receive DLA on the lower rate for my little girl and childcare cost. As i knew they dont use this as income i did not inform them. Last last weekend i got a letter telling me that they had re-assessed my allowance due to my change in circumstances and that i was entitled to £11 per week LHA but that they were going to take £10 off me for an over payment, so last monday they paid me £1. I went in on tuesday the 26th with my tax credit award letter and the letters i have from them and spoke to a very nice lady and she got in sorted out and told me i would just need to take in my daughters award letter from the DLA, so on wednesday with the proof and was told by a different lady i needed to take the proof of my childcare costs, so on thursday i took that in. Then yesterday i received a letter from them basically admitting that since my daughter has been born they have been paying me wrong and that they are still paying me wrong. But i dont wholely understand their stupid letter, although when i went in on the thursday they told me that i have now been entitled to £57 per week and that i have overpaid the overpayment. (wonder how long it will take for them to pay that back!) I keep every letter they send me and always give the proof they ask for. I did not ask to be a single mum and try my hardest. I want to go back to work as soon as i can and pay my taxes and when you need a bit of help you get messed about, but some people can do nothing and get everything.
