The uniform colours were Navy Blue and gold when I started there in 1948. Grey & Maroon came Two years later. Other teachers:- Moss, Mrs Vernon, Hook, Smith, MaCauley, Helliwell, Miss Macintosh, Miss Robinson.

Dennis Wales was there in my year 1948 to 1953. Some other names I remember from the same period:- Aiden Andersen, Arthur Bell, Ron Brindley,George Curbishley, Billy Gribbon, Kevin lint, Graham Cox,Michael Lord,Tony Bridges, Raymond Race, Fred Olerenshaw and his cousin Vielia, Barry Mawson, Barry? Steadmans, ? Otter, Tony Hatfield, Alan Woodriff, 'Easy' Eason, Kieth Cooper (who was expelled for a fight with Mr MaCauley(Geography teacher?) at the time, Bob Smith(head boy in last year) I have a photo somewhere of form 5A, all boys in the last year. If I can find it I might remember some more but that was a hell of a strain on the old memory recall:gag:
