  1. Whether you like texting or not the fact is the companies are not telling the truth.

The word unlimited means without restriction. To then be told the maximum is 750 texts a week means there is a restriction. Actually I think this is a case for trading standards. Contact them with your complaint outlining your reasons for requiring this particular package and the fact you are not getting what was implied at the time of signing up to the contract.

One could also that it is a case for the Advertising Standards Authority. They are advertising unlimited when in fact there is a limit.

Most of the all you can eat restaurants tell you that it is for an hour and a half before you start your meal so basically they are all you can eat within an hour and a half restaurants. when signing any contract for loans, life insurance etc the law requires that you are fully informed of the terms including any small print terms. The soner the internet providers and phone companies are required to do this the better.

thank you so much this is my point when it states unlimited it should be unlimited not stopped when they think you have sent enough i no sending 750 texs a week is a bit too much but why on earth tell people it is unlimitied when it clearerly isnt.

  2. WELL FIRSTLY I WAS GETTIN MY SISTER A MOBILE FOR HER BIRTHDAY SHE HAD CHOSEN THE ONE SHE WANTED ALL I HAD TO DO WAS GO AND GET IT SO OFF WE WENT TO THE PHONE SHOP, I ASKED THE SALES PERSON ABOUT THE PHONE AND ASKED HIM IF IT WAS DEFINATLY UNLIMITED AS MY SISTER USES A HELL OF ALOT OF TEXTS HE SAID YES OF COURSE IT IS, I THOUGHT GREAT STUFF CAN I HAVE IT. HE THEN WENT THROUGHT THE CONTRACT AND I FOUND OUT THAT IT WASNT UNLIMITED AT ALL IN FACT YOU COULD ONLY SEND 750 TEXTS AWEEK OR 3000 A MONTH WHICH IS NO GOOD FOR A STUDENT WHO ONLY THINKS TEXTING IS THE WAY TO COMUNICATE!

HOW DARE THE PHONE COMPANY SAY ITS UNLIMITED WHEN IT ISNT!

THIS IS MY DEFINITION OF UNLIMITED

    unlimited

    –adjective

    1. not limited; unrestricted; unconfined: unlimited trade.

    whats your definition?

  3. i was on the dss for years 5 to be exact i have a little girl and wud have loved to work while she was a child to provide for her but i couldnt afford nursery bills or childminders. i work now and still cant afford them i rely on family to look after her while i go to work. People see people on the dss as dossers and in some cases its true some people dont want to work but in most its cos they have no choice like me a few years ago. im not ashamed of once been on the dss the little money i got off the dss feed and clothed my daughter and i welcomed it. now i work i cant imagine going back on dss as they dont help enough. i was asking for help to get a job for about 18 months n they told me that i didnt have to go to work until my daughter was older so why did i want to, when i can get paid for doing nothing, i was shocked but the person who said was right.

  4. Can any one explain why oh why didn't someone report their suspicions!

In the Yorkshire Post it stated that the two sisters who worked as barmaids were aware of Tiffany's plight but did not report it because they 'did not want to split the family up' (28/06/08)

It also said that one of the sisters had found Tiffany alone in the flat several times after her parents had gone out ! Why did'nt they report it??!!!

The sisters apparently had also tried to clean the flat up and when they showed Tiffany her clean bedroom she ran over and stroked her bed - how heartbreaking !!!

What that little darling suffered we will never know (RIP sweetheart) x

i no wot u mean i wud have had a few words if i had noticed anything. and if i was the one of those sisters i wouldn't have kept quiet about it i would have offered to help and reported it.
