Just listening to last night's Praise & Grumble.

Everyone appears to be blaming Max Lowe for giving away a free kick, that led to a corner, that led to the QPR goal but Lowe is mainly getting grief because he played for the Blades.

    Well done Agent Lowe.

Yea don't get it. It can't really be pinned on one player I don't think. It's probably one of the best goal line scrambles I've seen in a long time though😂

Agree. They usually end up loosing from that position so a draw is an improvement.

Please tell me those that were left on 93 mins were bouncing up & down for a few mins & then suddenly stopped 3 mins later?

Maybe but then how long were yours celebrating a win against these before bottling the 2 goal lead?😁.

It's always frustrating not winning from that position but I'd rather it been an equaliser than their winning goal.

  3. Same old story of not making the most of our chances. 10 shots and 1 on target in the first half says it all really, we're just not clinical enough as usual. Lovely goal from bannan but let themselves down in the end.

Still we've ended the loosing streak at least but should of been more.

Bet  it's a nervy time for you owls my stepson who's a big owls fan thinks the team isn't good enough to compete in the championship just staying out the bottom three is good enough..

It's a building season for ye shame the bricks are falling out already..

Just hang in there guys wish ye well as always.

Comfortably out of the bottom 3 was what I was hoping for this season, anything more was a bonus. I just hope we have it in us for even that.

  5. I guess it depends if Rohl is willing to accept it's not working at the minute and go back to what did last season. We need to start by not conceding so many goals, if that means 3 cb's for the time being then so be it.

It's going right for him but can he show us he's the man we hope can take us in the right direction.

  6. I never said he was, even after what he did last season so it's not all fans lording him as the next Messiah. Did I want him to stay, yes of course. Do I want him to go now, of course not.

As for the Plymouth result if you look back most said a good win but the next 3 or 4 games would give us more if an indication of where we're at, as it is it shows he has some work to do but it's not panic mode yet after 4 games

I’m sticking by DR not because I think that he’s the second coming, more because I want to see what he’s really got, he’d nothing  to lose last year, this time it’s different.

Exactly that, did great last season with nothing to lose, now he has his own players to show what he really can or can't do.  Still had alot to prove even after last season, he has to adapt to the poor results and make changes.

  8. Well we hoped for a reaction after the last game but the players couldn't deliver, I hope it's not going to be a familiar story this season. Again players didn't show up and our attacking players not up to scratch. I didn't expect a win so not overly surprised but the sooner Ugbo is fit the better.

Unfortunately not everyone is able to buy a season ticket , mine works out around £18.50 per game & not as old like some older timers , but surely the Chairman should think that kids are still on holiday , games on sky at least make a consesion & get more bottoms on seats? & you never know might even  spend cash in the Owls shop ,also food.

Yep even if he insists on fleecing the adults on tickets, season or matchday tickets he could at least make child tickets more appealing so parents are more likely to take them.

The score line flattered? I don’t know what game you were watching.

wednesday had 30 attempts at goal in 90mins. Plymouth had 5 (of which was 1 was on target).

Wednesday completely dominated throughout - the score line flattered Plymouth if anything.

I'm guessing he means it flattered Plymouth as we could of got double with better composure/finishing.

  11. Well you can only beat what's in front of you but Plymouth were awful, with more composure/better finishing from certain players we could of had a hateful, I'll take 4 though. Ingelsson looked a handy player but all the new signings played well. A tougher test up next but good to start with a win.

Just seen this on the official site.

Tickets are still available for the Owls v Pilgrims and are on sale online by following the link below.

Supporters can buy tickets on matchday at the Ticket Office. As always, we are reminding fans that there are no cash turnstiles and to arrive at the stadium in good time to avoid unnecessary queues.

The Ticket Office is open from 10:00am on Sunday until kick-off and will not reopen after the game.

I've ended up buying online but wasn't sure if I'd be cutting it fine having to collect from a turnstile, thats why I wondered about pay on gate.

Never had a digital ticket though, I take it I just show the email with the details on rather than having to collect from a turnstile 🤔
