  1. I went last night and thought they were awesome, apart from flavor flavs pretty ropey solo set.

Thought Broke N English were pretty top notch too.

Only dissapointment was the sound, which was abysmal. Really, really loud (my ears still ringing now!) - but really muddy and distorted - could not hear Chucks voice too well and it was hard to distinguish between tracks sometimes.

However, 2+hours of wicked entertainment and positive vibes - boy, do they still pump it up!

20 odd years and more relevant than a lot of newer stuff.

    FIGHT THE POWER!!

  2. Im an adult, what you trying to say? My kids dont smoke, my kids dont have a lack of ambition, there very artistic and have just as good a future as anyone else in there school rich/poor. Labeling div.

Do you class yourself as a Chav then?

Is this an attack on you?

Are you like the descriptions in this thread?

Do you not see ANY wrong in the chav phenomena - do you think all of it is made up, why are you so protective of stupidity? You seem to like the label yourself - if you didn't you would not be identifying yourself as one so strongly.

Trackies are lazy folks clothes - so you can get fat without worrying about fitting in your clothes. Wait till you get a bit older - jeez, nowt worse than a man in his 30's in a tracksuit, who clearly does not do any sport!! makes me cream me pants with hysterics!!

I love the chav thing in some ways, as it is so unintentionally hilarious!!

    :thumbsup::hihi: :hihi:

  3. there just kids, when i was that age we used to hang around in groups, thats what you do! I admit some are worse than others but thats always been the case, its just now there is a word so people can label them. When i was 15-16 i wasnt thinking about "how to better myself" and i dont know many kids that did, you just want to hang around with your mates.

The point is - you are missing the point - it is not just about kids, as i can excuse a few braindead teenagers.

it's the sodding adults who are "chav" that do my head in - they are the worst - and there is a load of em, look all around sheffield and you'll find em.

Braindead scum, polluting their own kids with crap food, fags, lack of ambition and jealousy of anyone with half a brain.

why you think it is just kids i am not sure.

  4. Did ya know if you walked onto your shops and said ``Alright lads`` and actully gave some of them kids abit of respect and learn to take a joke of one of the little cockey ones you want to punch, you wouldnt have a problem. There'd even look out for you and help you in any way they can, it aint fair to label them `CHAVS` because they see you as `SNOBS`.

"if you walked onto your shops" - how do you do that, sounds quite a hard thing to do that!

Nah mate - nowt to do with class - they just thick. Intelligent working class they aint. How do they want to better themselves? They like to wallow, cos they cannot think of anything else to do.

Look out for us! Who are you? The forum chief chav?

    :|

  5. Have you ever thought that these people actually may have problems and therefore, may need help rather than snide, highhanded judgemental comments?

where would you rather they go??

    what is the answer?

this society is so full of double standards - make the breweries cough up an awful lot more for help with this problem?

Christ - its ok for the nation to act like this on a friday and saturday night, but not for those who find they are addicted to the damned stuff on a daily basis!!

Get off your moral highground and get real.
