This is fantastic to see. Also, if I believe a post on Facebook that's getting updated day by day, it looks like Shefield City Council will allow exemped dogs, but I really need to hear it for myself before I get my mother's hopes up.

This is her for anyone wondering what she looks like. Dalmatian X Boxer and yes I know they are only banning "type dogs" but she classes as type as she fits the measurements laid out by the government/defra. Crazy times. I've spoken to the council and the woman I spoke to didn't know much and said they'd not been given any information yet. Considering the ban takes effect at the end of the month and hundreds if not thousands of people are confused as hell I think it's quite disguting. Evening all. May I ask if anyone in social housing has any information on whether Sheffield City Council will allow exempted dogs? My mother has a Dalmatian X Boxer and it, unfortunately, fits the measurements the government have laid out. She's nearly 70 and just lost a 14-year-old dog a couple of weeks ago. This will absolutely kill her if she has to decide to either keep the dog or get kicked out of the house she's lived in for over 40 years. Thanks for taking the time to read if anyone does.
