I have traced my family back to a Charles Jones ( born approx 1818 ) who was born in Birmingham but was removed to Bradfield when orphaned, together with his brother Thomas and sister Mary Ann. He entered Bradfield Workhouse in 1824, and was subsequently apprenticed to a local farmer. He had many children and I guess some of his descendants might live in the Sheffield area. I would be interested to hear from anyone with a connection to Charles Jones.
