  1. I lived right up the top and the Acorn Drive/Greaves Lane area is really nice (except some small pockets..) but we always found that driving up the hill, whenever we followed or were followed by someone driving boy racer-style they turned off before you get to the Sportsman - so the liberty drive area. I personally wouldn't live there - when we were looking our cutoff was the sportsman, didn't look south of it. It's all a bit run down. Best thing you can do is take a drive round there yourself really, see it for yourself. It is generally a fairly quiet area though, and the public transport links are good.
  2. Hi everyone, I have a cocker spaniel puppy who is 14 weeks old and is now able to go out on walks - finally! He's met a lot of people at home and is super friendly but is still a bit nervous with strangers on walks and hasn't really met any other dogs yet, so we are wanting to get him well socialised. Is there anyone here in the Aughton/Swallownest/Aston area who has either a puppy also in need of socialisation or a dog who they know to be good with puppies - or know of any walking groups in the area? Thanks!
