  1. If you are looking for somewhere to eat that is delicious then look no further than La Mama's tapas on Abbeydale Road with a lovely atmosphere. Every dish was fault less, and in need of repeating, if I could have eaten anymore. I do not eat meat but the piri piri chicken looked and smelled amazing. The variety of tapas was more than enough to choose from and each dish was delicious. Don't go anywhere else if you are looking for quality food at a reasonable price too, they have a happy hour during the week which we will sample for sure. Cheers La Mama's.
  2. La Mama's on Abbeydale Road is just too delicious to put into words. If you like quality food, cooked to perfection then give this a try. I had the sea bass which melted in the mouth and divine to the taste buds served with vegetables just cooked right. My partner had steak, and I was tempted to have a taste as it looked so appetising but I don't eat meat, but it was the best steak that he had tasted, ever which is saying something as he is a steak person!!! My friend had her own concocted pizza and was told that the dough was made freshly, and you could tell, crispy perfect pizza. Another had the duck, which looked amazing and tasted perfect. If you love seafood you can't go without trying the zarsuella, mmmmmmmmm now that is to die for!!!!!!! The cuisine is Latino influenced, the service is friendly and my friend has even been back and I certainly will, a free garlic chilli bread is complementary which leaves you wanting more which we did. I would recommend coming here for any occassion and what I love about it was that there were people bringing their parents out which is nice to see.
  3. La Mama's on Abbeydale Road, its Latino influenced cuisine with the most delicious fish dishes, had the halibut, very delicate and melts in the mouth with vegetables and asparagus, a free garlic bread with a twist of chilli was served which certainly wet the appetite, I could have eaten more. My partner had the zarsuella, a variety of sea food, generous mussles, prawns and red snapper in a rich tomato sauce and it looked and tasted delicious. A friend had the steak which was cooked to perfection and another friend had the duck. No complaints whatsoever and will certainly be going back again. A relaxed atmosphere for young and older alike, I would bring anyone here as it was without doubt the best food I have had in a while. My friend went back and highly recommends the pizzas, ask for what you would like and they oblige as the menu is under review. Anyone tell me if I am wrong about this. The best kept secret in Sheffield.
  4. I am looking for anyone interested in supporting me in funding my second year of my counselling diploma as my employer is unable to fund this due to losing their contract. I am unable to fund this myself and am faced with dropping out of the course if unsuccessful. Please could anyone give me any advice or further sources of financial assistance as I am finding it hard to settle in the course knowing that I might have to leave it if I don't find financial support to pay for the course.
