I thought it would be easy but you'd be surprised. I met a lot of people on Gumtree down in Bristol where I went to uni. It didn't have the same effect in Sheffield! Going for a drive in someone's car isn't exactly what I had in mind when I said I wanted to meet new people!!!

I'm 22 and moved back to Sheffield after being away at uni for 3 years and found that most of my friends from school have moved away. I live in a shared house so that gives me a bit of a social life but I want to expand a bit beyond that. I've tried citysocialiser but it seems to be a bit quiet at the moment and I'm finding it impossible to find people my own age Is there anyone else in a similar situation that wants to see if we can get a couple of people together for nights out, meals out or just sitting in the pub - anything really! I'm also into running and cycling if anyone's interested in buddying up for that!

Hi Rosie, I might be a bit late to the party but I'm looking for someone to go running with. I go with my housemate but she's a bit faster than me so I get left behind! I'm 22 and female and live around Hunters Bar so I run round Endcliffe Park in the evenings and the occasional weekend day - hangover permitting!
