we have never ever had any problem like this before... and are very much welcomed anywhere we go usually... thats why im just utterly shocked, you know... couldn't believe it.

Has anyone else received homophobic abuse from people in the street recently?? i've been shocked beyond belief since last night when i was walking home from a bar at about 1am, just before we (myself who is female and a friend who is male) reached the top of the moor coming from fargate. A lot of homophobic verbal abuse was shouted absolutely out of the blue with no provokation at all by two guys who were about 25ish.. they were in a group of about 6. they ended up picking out my friend and chasing him for a long period of time shouting all sorts of things, paricularly "queer". now, to witness such a thing makes me sick to my stomach. he was fine in the end and got away, but just to think what could have happened.... it really makes me embarrassed of people in the city... why is this kind of thing still going on?? has anybody had any similar trouble recently??? cheers

A relative of mine is wanting to have her small tattoos removed from her arms and neck... so been trying to look up on where she could have it done... has anyone got any recommendations/advice?? would be appreciated cheers:)

must have previous experience to be able to do a top quality job of laying laminate flooring in our small bathroom. i know its supposed to be easy to do but i just have a feeling i'll muck it up so if anyone is interested in doing it for us for a reasonable rate, it would be much appreciated. shouldnt take long at all, and of course you'll get a cuppa! i want to go to london for weekend with a couple friends.... round about soho i'm thinking.... but money is tight.... any body know where to get cheapest trains?? (cant hack 4 - 5 hour bus journey - just cant sit there that long).......... but im sure i can get trains cheap enough, right? also, hotels... any body point me in the right direction for a cheap stay? cheers

i have an exam on monday in the indoor straight of don valley stadium.... and last time i had an exam there it took me over an hour to find and i still have no idea.... i'm told you get off at attercliffe tram stop (NOT the don valley stop).... can somebody help me with exact directions from there as i will be going by tram. cheers
