  1. The Sheffield Branch of Junior Chamber International (JCI) are also collecting Shoeboxes on behalf of the Archer Project Appeal. Should you have difficulty delivering your shoeboxes, then please get in touch. About JCI Sheffield We are an organisation formed of young professionals, aged 18-40, from various business sectors in the city and we strive to be a leading network of Active Citizens in our Community. We engage our members in professional development training, undertake networking events, support our local community through mentoring young people, volunteer for local charities, get ourselves involved in UK and International projects and events, and have fun surrounded by like-minded people - the enthusiasm is truly infectious! You can find out more about JCI Sheffield by emailing info@jcisheffield.org.uk or you’d be most welcome at one of our monthly socials or other events, so why not check out our website! http://www.jcisheffield.co.uk/
  2. The roads around Sheffield are definitely getting worse! Have taken a couple of photographs recently after getting a puncture and will be writing to Sheffield City Council to complain!
  3. I can't understand why they don't drill a tunnel through the Pennines between Sheffield and Manchester, similar to the road tunnels in continental Europe! I was across that the Snake Pass recently and it was nose to tail at a couple of points. I wouldn't like to live in those congested little villages.
  4. Why don't you join PureGym at Millhouses, as they've got Kettlebell classes, as well as a load of others. They've got a special offer on at Millhouses for £10.99 (with a £15 joining fee). Use my ref B1C328 to qualify. I was a Fitness First member there, and they've recently refurbished the whole gym, and all their equipment is brand new. You can't go bad at that price.
  5. I've been going to Barry Mason for over 4 years now, and would thoroughly recommend him for the service and price. I've tried others in the past and found them not to be as reliable.
  6. Yes it's certainly not an easy thing to consider, but you wouldn't want to see your pet suffer. Peak Vets came out after hours to put my poor cat to sleep after she developed a blood clot in her back legs, so would recommend them for their compassion and professionalism at a difficult time.
