Just had a survey at the door from some market research company working for the coop. "Enterprise Inn's can't make it work as a pub", "would you use a coop on the site?".
This is not a positive development. There is already a thriving local food shop knabs next door. The answer is to fix the pub, not ruin another local shop.
Clearly enterprise inn's can't make the pub work because their whole business model is flawed. Were it to be run independently or as a community run pub it would have much more chance of success.
