K G Bird, what you should do is dry your clothes on an airer in the bathroom, close the door, have your heating on but leave your window open a bit to allow the moisture to escape and give ventilation into the bathroom.
BTW the most common reason for mould and damp caused by condensation is lack of ventilation. The room needs air movement to prevent the mould growing in stale air. This is the reason many properties are found to have mould behind wardrobes and bedside cabinets, particularly when they are pushed up to an outside wall. Pull your furniture away from the walls a few inches and allow the air to circulate, preferably by having the window open a bit.
